WPF Bridge & Mahjong Day 2017

WPF Bridge and Mahjong Day on 6 April was an enormous success being fully sold out and raising valuable donations to support our grant programs funding contraception and family planning education in the Asia Pacific region.

Batya Atlas, Project Manager with Marie Stopes International Australia spoke to guests about the family planning work MSIA is doing in Papua New Guinea due to funds provided by WPF.  Alice Oppen spoke about the urgent need for greater access to contraception on a regional and global level and the impact of reduced funding due to President Trump’s recent decision to withdraw funding from this area.

WPF is most appreciative of  generous support of hostess Marianne Moufarrige and committee members who contributed the delicious feast and raffle items.
