The Language of Flowers Festival

2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at All Saints Church Hunter's Hill November 18th, Sunday

Floral exhibits by Ikebana and Sogetsu Ikebana artists Helen Coleman, Elizabeth Fuller, Joan Perkins and Lucia Darin at this historic Horbury Hunt church.  Rare and unusual plants for sale, gift and book stall.  Enjoy afternoon tea and learn about the Victorian language of flowers.  Proceeds to Women's Plans Foundation and the Anglican Parish of Hunter's Hill.  $20 entry, with teas additional.

Cocktail Party and Auction, October 20th, 6 to 9 p.m.

In a private home and gardens in Darling Point, fine food and wine in this beautiful setting overlooking Rushcutters Bay will inspire you to dream of holidays on offer.  

Woodbridge on the Derwent is a Small Luxury Hotel on the Derwent River outside Hobart.  Historic, restored to preserve the record of its origins, this treasure is owned and hosted by the Grimleys with great consideration for the tastes of guests.  The network of friends growing fine local produce can provide an expanding 'foodies' tourist experience for you.

March 8th:

Wahroonga Rotary sponsored a very successful International Women's Day dinner for WPF, held at Barker College, with a presentation by Isabel Deeble and a trivia quiz relating to International Women's Day by Carolyn Blanden.  WPF thanks Wahroonga Rotary for their generosity and interest.  Photos:  prize winner Toni Hurley with Isabel Deeble; Carolyn Blanden with Kerry Cumming.

Carolyn Blanden also spoke at the Breakfast Point Rotary Breakfast, who have generously donated to WPF, and at Burwood Rotary.

March 4th:  WPF hosted a table at the UN Women International Women's Day Breakfast at the Convention Centre in Sydney. 1700 people attended, and our Alert was in each 'showbag'.
